Chemical alumina refers to aluminum hydroxides, alumina and alumina-bearing compounds apart from alumina used for producing aluminum. The products are widely applied in industries covering artificial panels, pottery and porcelain, fire-resistant materials, laundry, petrifaction, fluoride salt (aluminum fluoride, cryolite), activated alumina, high-temperature alumina, water clarifying agent (polyaluminum chloride and aluminum sulfate), sodium aluminate, aluminum gel raw material for medical use, catalyst carrier, rubber, plastics, fire-resistant packing and glass products.
